The Past Week

This past week has been really exciting. On Monday I was sitting at the institute with my friends when I really started to get hungry. When i looked at the clock i realized it was almost dinner time. I said to my friends "we should all go to my house and ill make dinner!!" Of course no one turned it down and we all walked to my house. The people that came were Justin, Mike, Grant, Issac and Stacie. I went to get out my stuff for stir fry and realized that I only had veggies and like a cup of rice. I was pretty sad because i thought i had more stuff. Luckily Stacie had rice and chicken that she offered to let me use. So i started to defrost the chicken. When it was defrosted Grant would not let me cut it he told me to warm up the skillet....so i did. After he cut up all the chicken i threw it in to the skill it and started to brown it, but he didn't let me Finnish he took over the browning and told me to start the rice. I then realized that i was not going to be allowed to cook for my friends that night and that he wanted to so i let him. He did a wonderful job it was really tasty we all enjoyed it. After dinner Grant and Issac did the Dishes and wouldn't let us help...that was really nice of them. When they were done we all dispersed to go to family home evening. When i went to FHE it was the huge ward one and we played Human Foosball it was really fun. After that my roommate Denise and I decided to go hang out at one of our friends house and went to burn carpet and a couch. It was really cool! The couch burned with green and blue flames it was amazing!!

Tuesday I got my braces off!!! WOOT WOOT!! I was really excited. Right when I got home I went straight to the fridge and grabbed an apple. I took a huge bite right out of the side....ummmmmm it was so delicious!!! Then my roommate Alex decided that we needed to go to the store and get some corn on the cob so that I could eat that too. She decided to make a huge dinner out of it. We invited about 5 people over to come celebrate my braces being off. It was an awesome dinner :). After we were done my friend Grant and I cleaned the kitchen and did the dishes. The two of us then decided to go to the institute and play the piano. He is an amazing pianist. I listened to him play and then we would switch. We did this for about an hour. After that he had to go help his roommates with something so he left. I went to my friend Meghan's house to help her pack for the choir trip she was going on the next day. When she was done packing we migrated back to my house. When we got there my friend Nate was over. We all decided to just stay out side in the front yard because it was such a beautiful night. After he was done helping his roommates Grant came back over. All 4 of us just sat in the grass and talked and laughed it was awesome. Then Nate left, and after a while Meghan left too so it was just Grant and I. It was really nice to talk to him and we had a good conversation.

Wednesday I had a ton of math homework to do and I worked on it all day. I thought my brain was going to leak out of my ears. Finally I decided to take a break and talk to the people in the institute. I always have fun when I hang out there. At about 5 o'clock Grant suggested Tacobell and of course that made all of us hungry. He told me "If you drive I'll pay for your food" and how could I turn that down...so i didn't. So Alex, Denise, Justin, Grant and I all piled in my car and we drove to Tacobell. After we ordered the stupid Tacobell people mixed up our orders...but it all worked out in the end. We all laughed and talked it was great fun! When we were done eating Alex suggested we go to Blockbuster and rent some movies. We ended up renting 2 Australia and this other movie (I cant remember the name). When we got home we decided to dive into the unknown and watch the movie that we didn't really know anything about. That was a silly dive to make. The movie was in German!!! And the subtitles were totally messed up. It was really funny!! So we then put Australia in. It was a really great movie! I highly recommend it to anyone. Near the end of the movie my mom called me so I went in my room to talk to her. While I was my friend Hannah came in so I ended the phone call and proceeded to talk to her. So I ended up missing a chunk of the movie. I did get to catch the end though. After the movie was over Grant decided to start tickling me (I am super ticklish). I was like squealing and squirming all over the place. When he was done tickling he had his arm around my shoulders and kept pulling me close to him. It was really nice to have that.

Thursday I had only one class because my institute classes were cancelled. So I spent most of the day on home work again. I found that it was more fun to sit at the institute while i worked on it so most of the day i talked and worked it was pretty fun. I didn't finish my home work until about 4 o'clock but i was pretty happy to be done! I really wanted to do something fun that night so i asked my friend Stacie if she had any ideas of something fun we could do, she didn't at first but we decided to brain storm. We came up with the idea of going to the park and playing games and stuff. However this huge wind storm came up so we were not able to go. It was pretty sad. So we decided to just go to my house and hang out. It was really fun Issac bought a pie and we all ate it, listened to music, talked and laughed it was great!

Friday I had to wake up early for my 7:30 math class! I had to take a test that morning. I was really worried because math has always been pretty hard for me. I studied enough and i was prepared but i was still nervous. The test took me about an hour to complete. Once i walked out of that classroom i was relived that i didn't have to worry about it anymore. I ran home after words to get all my stuff packed so i could head home for spring break. Grant came over at about 9:30 to say good bye to me and give my roommate Alex a movie that she wanted to watch. He only stayed a few minutes but i thought it was sweet of him to come over. I was all packed and ready to go by 10 so i jumped in my car and started the long drive. It went really smoothly except for this stupid car that tried to pass a semi truck and i guess didn't see me in the other lane. He almost hit me head on!!! It was really scary. I got home safe and sound at about 1:30. I was so excited to see my family. We didn't do to much the rest of the day just relaxed because i was really tired out.

Saturday I was woken up at 7:30 by a text message from Grant. He was wishing me a good morning. So i decided to get up and start writing this blog. I wrote till about 8 o'clock. Then my mom wanted us to get up and start to get ready for the day so we could help her in the garden and clean the house for the company we were going to have over for a fish fry. So we got ready and went out to the garden. Connor, Sean, Madison, My mom and I all worked together out there for about an hour and a half it was really fun, it was hard work but we all enjoyed it. After that i had to do some laundry and dust for my mom. When i finished all those chores i decided to take a power nap for about thirty minutes. By this time it was about 5 o'clock and my mom and i started to make the salads for the fish fry. It was fun to work with my mom in the kitchen, when the salads were done i cleaned the dishes and put the ones we were not using away and set up for the dinner. When i was done i decided to play the piano. It was nice to sit and play for a while. Then all of our company started to come. They were happy to see us and excited for the dinner. We partied all night (well at least till about 10) we had a fire and lots of dessert.

Well that is how my week went it was pretty wonderful and i had an amazing time.
